After watching this clip I found myself “missing” Steve Jobs. Ashton Kutcher does a great job at portraying the late mastermind’s passion and even looks like a young version of Jobs. In the clip we see Steve Jobs, (Kutcher) and Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak (Josh Gad) in a Hewlett Packard parking lot discussing a new operating system Wozniak created. The line that stands out the most for me was when Jobs and Wozniak are arguing about the importance of Wozniak’s latest invention, Jobs says, “How does somebody know what they want if they’ve never ever seen it?”
The film chronicles the story of Steve Jobs’ ascension from college dropout to one of the most revered, creative entrepreneurs of the 20th century. jOBS will premiere as the closing night film at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival. (Tonight) The movie opens in theaters on April 19th and stars Ashton Kutcher, Dermot Mulroney, Josh Gad, Lukas Haas, J.K. Simmons and Matthew Modine.
